Educational Technology Toolkit

Hi everyone!!

So I decided to Create a screen-cast to walk you through my Technology toolkit. When thinking about my toolkit I thought about creating a collection that was easily accessible for teachers. I thought it would be ideal to categorize my toolkit by technology for collaboration, assessment, engagement and instruction. Within each toolkit, I included articles, both research articles and user friendly articles to help teachers navigate within learning how to use assessment for collaboration, assessment, engagement and instruction. I also included resources, websites and videos to use as a way for teachers to get started on using technology for each collection.

Here are the four categories in which teachers can select.

Within these categories are articles and resources teachers can use

  1. Hi Esther!
WOW!! You provided plenty of educational resources for the blog assignment this week. I think it is great that you shared a variety of tools with us and also over a range of areas in which technology can be implemented. This includes: engagement, assessment, as well as collaboration. I enjoy the variety of tools because in some areas I feel as though a lot educators may be stumped or continue to use the same type of tools however, with your tool kits this provides them with a variety of tools to use and experiment with in his/her classroom. Great resource!!!

  2. Hi Esther,

I absolutely LOVE the way you have taken this to the next level and included several different collections for your tools. Including how-to articles was a great idea to help users learn to use the tools you have provided. I thing the assessment collection is particularly helpful, because it is something that a lot of teachers/instructors struggle with. Nice job!

  3. Hi Esther! I think you did a great job with creating your technology toolkit. I loved how you showcased many tools and even organized them by category. The various collections that you created allows for easy navigation, especially when trying to find something that will suit a specific need in the classroom. This is definitely a toolkit I would reference when I have my own classroom in the future. Thanks for sharing!
